AllMusic
Repeat is an extraordinary piece of tape loop, guitar, bass, drums, and electronics that picks up the mantle of rock experimentation left by Can and Faust and creates a sound so influential as to echo well into the next decade.

While this is a collection of unreleased material, It is a sort of a compilation album but some people consider it a studio album so I will cover it. the first 2 tracks are the main unreleased tracks and Repeat is an awesome building track that is always the same but still enthrollng. Metal is one of the best experiments they ever did, and Graphic/Varispeed (33 RPM) is ok but already found on their ep just in 45 RPM. Still great.

Pretty fascinating insight into the sorts of things This Heat were doing outside of their albums. While a lot of this just sounds like improvisation and tape noise, Repeat is an amazing extension of 24 Track Loop, and Metal does have some great industrial soundscapes even if 23 minutes is quite a bold choice of runtime for the song.
