As soon as Rapeman arrived, they pretty much departed. Aside from some singles, they’d release with legendary indie label Sub Pop, the group would disband due to controversy, and this EP is what would be left of them alongside their debut album Two Nuns and a Pack Mule. And like that album, this EP is absurdly underrated, even more so than Two Nuns. "Budd" has to be one of the greatest Steve Albini songs of all time. The song is named after R. Budd Dwyer, an American politician who served as Pennsylvania's Treasurer from 1981 until his suicide in 1987, during a press conference, live on television (hence, the song's subject matter).
