Dark Souls metal really speaks to me.

The themes of the Dark Souls series; the darkness, the beauty, and the struggle with and against the self are all really deeply moving to me. And what Firelink did on their first album, "The Inveterate Fire", I think was really going in the direction of perfectly capturing those themes in musical composition.
