The collaboration between the two entities, while, truthfully not nearly a contender for AOTY, marks the beginning of a beautiful friendship that we hope to hear from again in the future.

A dark and full house album that excels in production quality but lacks in the ability to take risks. With a noticeably heavier influence from Golden Features, this record needs so much more of ODESZA's brighter and "chillwave" style to make up for the monotonous undertone that dominates many of these tracks.

ok here are my first listen thoughts (they may be updated as i listen to the record more):
FOUNDATION (60/100) - pretty good opener, but nothing too special. the transition to HEART ATTACK is pretty nice, too. quite atmospheric and cool, but not catchy at all (at least on first play).
HEART ATTACK (70/100) - the vocals are pretty nice on this track and the instrumentals are also quite good throughout the track, but the drop is a bit disappointing and one-dimensional to me. an enjoyable track ... read more
