Whether it be the tremolo-laden opening bassline of “Narrow” or the deafening distortion in parts of “Cunt Maniac”, D.A.M.N is a hard hitting record of Japanese sludgy metal goodness that does not overstay its welcome. Within the span of 23 minutes you’re subjected to the agonizing wails of the vocalist while the drums and distortion/vibration of the down-tuned groovy guitars beat you senseless whilst being oddly pleasing to the ears. Absolute perfection.
