Some really impressive work, but a lot of filler and he sounds like many other artists. He does however put me into his world. I feel like I'm in the tombs smokin a backwood. Not a bad first listen and some decent tracks.
Everything is good, ArtesianWater bad
Bones has been hitting a lot for me lately. The dark, grimy vibe his music gives perfectly matches his technology-based aesthetic, it reminds me a bit of the dark side of the internet. It really is the hip-hop underground in a digital form, is what I am trying to say here.

Similarly to $B, Bones is one of those artists that’s core sound appeals to be, but I never really dived deep into due to the lack of discussion from the greater hip-hop community, as well as these artists very often being labeled corny. I did enjoy by $B deep dive, and while I do like Bones, I’m not sure just how far I want to dig into his discog. Not his best work. 'Thegreatsnowfallof82' in particular sounds pretty bad and, although i believe it was on purpose, it still sucks. Bit of an inconsistent one, with some tracks where he just doesn't deliver that well. Some good ideas here but not that well executed imo

VERY vibey album and i think thats a good introduction to bones for me. its pretty corny at some points and some random jazz song there, but the production blurs the edgy feeling of it because the beats here are incredibly atmospheric.
