just rating the new songs

A Fine Day To Die is incredible and easily my favorite off the album. Gypsy also had the potential to be incredible if it wasn't for those strange backing vocals.

Emperors debut album is almost completely flawless when they aren’t covering another bands song. The instrumentation is amazing the vocals are appropriate to the vibe the lyrics are as overwhelming as they need to be and the interesting addition of a symphony really makes it unique from the other black metal of the time.
