Megadeth was always meant to be a groove/oshm band and you can’t change my mind. While this album isn’t as good as RIP, it feels much more natural and fitting. Dave’s vocals are actually pretty damn good, the riffs are sick, Marty Friedman is here and everything is working great together. This album is basically Ghost but better, to put in a mixer lense.
Favorite Song: Elysian Fields
Dawg this album ROCKS y’all are tripping. The mix sounds pretty terrible, but not bad enough to make the album as bad as I’ve heard it described. It’s their most ferocious album since RIB by far and the riffs are so badass. The drumming just isn’t the same, though. Really missing Lombardo on here.
Favorite Song: Serenity In Murder

If you ignore that this is the same band that made Among The Living, it’s probably much better.

Also Dave’s vocals are seriously awful here. I can’t tell if he’s joking around or just actually getting that much ... read more
