Ahhhhh sweet sweet 90s nostalgia - very very too much Nirvana worship which is an absolute shame because clearly this band has based musical instincts and I have to admit this was enjoyable but I just wish it had been more original and drawn from other bands as well, there was literally two songs in which I didn’t think of Nirvana which proves Superbloom are capable of so much more, fyi they were also the best songs.
Best Songs: Glass Candy Wrapper, Pollen.
Well made and enjoyable, but overwrought by some obvious influence (cough nirvana). Despite this, I enjoyed some of the band’s more recent releases; if they can shift into originality and claim a more distinct identity, they have solid potential
