The Romantics get an "A" for effort. It wasn't for the lack of trying that this band never truly resonated with the masses, it may have come down to an inferior ability to put together a cohesive album front to back. This album contains the break-out hit "What I Like About You", but offered little else in support.
I don't get why this is rated lower than its contemporaries, its a very consistent album. Favourite is Keep In Touch
American power-pop mostly inspired by the British invasion in the 60's.
The engine may be switched on but it has little gas.
