Super lekker EP'tje. Naar mijn mening zijn Icarus en Tingeltangelhersenpan op deze EP beter dan op Be-Bop-A-Lula, dus daar heb ik net pech mee. De vrolijke en zwevende manier waarop Speel Dat Ik Leef hier vertolkt wordt is in sterk contrast met de toch wel melancholiosche of nostaligsche manier waarop deze op Be-Bop-A-Lula staat. Sunon zelf is ook een mooie representatie van hoe Spinvis voelt: Chaotisch doch speels, met opbouwende instrumentalen die op elkaar doorwerken.

Spinvis' first of the (probably) planned season EP's is about summer and lyrically pretty much entirely in Dutch, with a few words in French here and there i guess. It's nothing groundbreaking, but a pleasant listen overall. Tingeltangel Hersenpan is psychedelic pop pleasure and Icarus is quite pleasant and more calm, with a hint of tragedy to it.

Speel Dat Ik Leef feels a bit out place, sounding like a video game soundtrack song or something. It's not bad, but feels weird compared to the ... read more
