One of the first death doom albums of all time, and I can even hear some funeral doom moments on here, especially the last song. It is mixed way too quiet, and there's a little too many minor 2nd progressions going on in my opinion.
One of the earliest Death Doom albums with a huge influence on later Funeral Doom. It's dark and slow but not very distorted, giving it a strange atmosphere that compensates for it's lack of bite. I'm mostly captivated by the strange calming effect it has on me
Everyone's been on a package holiday like the one depicted on the album cover... slow trudging doom metal is the best soundtrack.
