A genius combination of dark ambient tracks, drone, drum n' bass, and industrial-techno really help to create an amazing soundtrack to back up the game. While I know some people prefer to turn it off in-game since it can be quite over-the-top at points, I think it backs up the game very nicely.

In a way it creates a separate feel for the game based on whether you have the music on or not.
