Dee-Lite's sophomore album is shockingly underwhelming compared to the very funky and groovy World Clique, it feels like the energy and momentum this trio created on their debut has fizzed out and the music here just isn't that interesting or engaging. this was such a great listen. i’ve become quite fond of deee-lite! i knew i liked them but having finished their catalogue in listening to this project, i can confidently say they’re one of the most consistent and dynamic groups of the 90s, for me.
