Some of the strongest writing of 8ball's career, and even matches the quality of his work with MJG. Imo, this is one of the best double LPs in the history of rap! 8Ball is at the top of his game, he’s even better than in the albums with MJG and he drops some of his best verses.

An excellent double album, very consistent despite its near-two-hour runtime and finding 8Ball in excellent form, ranging from bombast to introspection, as well as some great features. I’m a huge fan of his run alongside MJG in the 90s and this is largely of the same calibre. The instrumentals have the signature sleazy funk of a lot of Southern but West-influenced hip hop of its time, and it’s a formula which I always enjoy.
