When this was started I was really scared I would hate this. After all on the opening track "Nihilism" the lead singers voice alternated wildly between "Extremely sore voiced Joey Ramone" to "If the Shaggs tried to write ska punk." Pretty equal in quality to their debut which was pretty good, but it doesnt have the great songwriting that Out Come The Wolves has
Great fucking album. Vocal work is phenomenal. Each song is catchy and some work off eachother in a neat way. I love listening to this album.
Rancid return in 1994 with a new member: Lars, and with him he brings some sick ass solos, nice riffs, and great back-up vocals.
In my opinion, Let's Go is the first record with a classic Rancid song, Radio--their debut didn't really have any very notably popular songs. That being said, Let's Go also seees Rancid take a big step in terms of music quality in general, with multiple more very good songs on this record that last. Very very front-heavy, but has probably my favorite sound out of any of their records. Really in love with Lars' backup vocals.
