The singing is just too “woe is me” and dramatically soft. I can’t say that the electronic elements really make this single shine either, kinda overkill.
always thought this was weak but the lyrics are infinitely memorable , especially I Sold My Soul For A Halo .

i think this track really shows that Devon's mostly raw voice really works on a more chill, soothing track like this. it reminds me of "The fish song" a lot and i kinda like that. also, that key change tho.
it's a bit too short, unfortunately, i wish that they get something more out of that buildup and the intro, because the production on those are quite excellent.
