This had a lot of potential to become a classic, cybernetic prog death metal album very similar in it's style to band like Cynic but ultimately failed by being one-dimensional and static. The ideas are original and the riffs fuck hard but the flat mix and poor songwriting are probably the main reason why im not huge on it
such a lifeless prog/melodeath album, the mix is very noticeably bad, the clean vocals are incredibly weak and the riffs play like its just one big 40 minute song, the harsh vocals were fine, the drumming and blast beats are probably the highlight but even they are just ok. overall just a really poorly made and bland album
