An earlier album by the Pointer Sisters compared to my recent review. 500 records in my collection and already Pointer Sisters twice haha. This album isn't as good as Break Out, however i do like its versatility. There's clear soul influences of course, but also country for example. It's upbeat but smooth at times, yet it lacks gripping originality or danceable funk. There's viscous funky tracks on here, for sure, but they don't get you moving like the ... read more
