Transform fully steps into the spotlight cast on them from Tony Hawk Pro Skater. This second wave of revitalization had the group looking at the aspects of their music that made them stand out. Transform is lyrically my favorite Powerman release, and its home to some of my favorite rock/metal songs ever. The album might drag a little bit but its still a worthwhile listen. Free is the best Powerman song they have ever made.
PM5K fully embraces their alternative metal sound. This transformation works out excellently in their favor, as they deliver what i think is their last memorable album. it's a little long for a Powerman album, but not a single moment of that runtime is wasted.
also, it's very cheeky of Spider One to reference Anyone For Doomsday in the opening lines of the closer here. maybe if you liked the lyric so much, you should've just released the whole album, hm? right?
