Klayton's humanity barely registers behind elaborate vocal processing, lush beds of trance-y keyboards, and rarefied edges on Celldweller's towering walls of guitar.

There are some memorable highlights here, like "Switchback" and "the Last Firstborn." This nu-metal, cybernetic breakbeat inspired band really wears their influences on their sleeve. The age shows, you can tell exactly the date it came out. But I'd be damned to say this wasn't a fun listen. The biggest issue for me is how drawn out it is. Came to listen to this since I finished Need For Speed Most Wanted. Turns out like half of the songs pales in comparison to One Good Reason
