As a collection of songs, ‘After LIKE’ is a fitting third chapter of the musical journey IVE have already taken us on in the months since their debut.

Disappointed with the approach, but still very enjoyable.
The teaser promised so much with the ‘I Will Survive’ strings sample, but turns out, it only appears towards the very end of the chorus. The house/nu-disco approach, although shows the ambition, leaves much to be desired. Still, as a standalone pop single, ‘After LIKE’ is a catchy tune with killer parts. I am a sucker for disco, but the second track is distracting in a bad way. My satisfaction sounds way too dramatic and serious in contrast with after like's upbeat and bright disco. It's a disappointing combination.
