Disappointed with the approach, but still very enjoyable.
The teaser promised so much with the ‘I Will Survive’ strings sample, but turns out, it only appears towards the very end of the chorus. The house/nu-disco approach, although shows the ambition, leaves much to be desired. Still, as a standalone pop single, ‘After LIKE’ is a catchy tune with killer parts. as some would agree, after like is an underwhelming song. i feel like i know exactly where the song is going within the first 30 seconds of it being played but without being too negative it can still be an enjoyable song, the melody is nice and quite catchy. i didn't quite like the bside either though which sucked.
