Nothing too fancy here. Just your standard composition. I was a bit let down to hear this coming from M83 as I expected it to be as big and broad as some of his previous work, but I was wrong. Not incredibly disappointed though. There are some very powerful tracks on this soundtrack. Overall, nothing too great or groundbreaking from Anthony Gonzales and the team.
The kind of music I struggle the most to care about is movie score classical. This isn't /really/ an M83 album. It's a classical score that Anthony co-composed with Joseph Trapanese.
I mean the title track is great. I suppose the rest of the album is like the film itself? Just a bit forgettable?
