Easily Mandrill's best album, with Just Outside of Town being a close second. The reason these 2 stand out in their early discography is a much better balance of funk-rock and latin jazz / funk. This is the Brooklyn band's most raw sounding record reflecting where they were at at the time.
How funny to watch these Caribbean mandrills hanging around the streets of Brooklyn, trying to discover the most juicy, funk fruits.
