it insists upon itself at times and would have benefited from a more concise tracklist. still enjoyed it though, albeit not as much as i used to.
For five releases in a row, Cloudkicker continues to improve their tone, now to a point that I have no criticisms of their mixing/recording. This is most noticeable on the drums, which are either actual recorded acoustic kit sessions, or (more likely) programmed drums disguised well enough that I can’t tell the difference.
