wow, this album is definitely going unnoticed by too many people. i had only dabbled a bit in Marlowe before but after checking out their third project I am sold on this duo. the production here is extremely tasteful and interesting while solemn brigham just adapts to all of it so easily. cant wait to go back to the first two marlowe's now, this was a really fun listen. Light Trip is one of my favorite rap songs this year
I wish I found this last year. The boom bap production from L'Orange feels like a combination of old and new school beats combined, which sounds excellent. Solemn Brigham delivers excellent lyrics, but what I really like is his flow. It fits the production perfectly and it's consistency is nice to latch do in the ever changing production. The feature all hold their own here as well. Romesh Ranganathan's actually made me laugh out loud, which I wasn't expecting to happen on an album like this. ... read more
