For the record, the production on this album is really interesting and quite unlike a lot of things I've heard. Most of the time it works. The album is very aesthetically coherent and at times enjoyable.
I'm just not sure it's for me, personally. A lot of the performances feel kind of monotonous and flat, save for a couple of instances towards the end of the album. Some of the most unique beats and bars of their discography are on this album, but unfortunately it suffers from a major flaw. That being inconsistency, some tracks don't feel as emotional or detailed as others, and that deminishes the impact of the album a lot.
404 are definitely still a group to look out for however. And god damn "Still" is one of the most beautiful songs they've ever made.
