The Ongoing Concept is a Post-hardcore / Metalcore group formed in 2009. They’ve always struck me as a band that was adjacent to the risecore era of poppy phc / mc. yeah they really knocked it out of the park with this one in my opinion. i've always liked the unique sound they go far, being different in each album they release. but this one, by far, feels the most polished and focused. every song sounds really huge and impactful here but the flow of the album remains great. they knew what they were doing here. even if you didn't enjoy this album you have to admit they had a vision for it and captured it perfectly. it just overall sounds so much better than ... read more
No other songs have blended funk and metal together in such a seamless way. This album stands out as something truly unique. Feel Again is straight up one of my favorite songs of all time and is the pinnacle of the style created by this band.
