As much as I love her voice, I wish she had better songs. I really like "Without You" and I think "Peach Blossom" is doing fine but the other songs don't have anything much to them. I don't find them bad either so the EP is still pretty okay overall. I think her solo debut was better because it has some sort of identity and "Play" really added a lot with its unique colour, but here all the songs are your average contemporary rnb ballad track.
I think I’m just a sucker for solo K-Pop. Theres amazing production and this lavish sense for groups but those solo albums man. I love this and she has such an amazing voice I was vibing through this. YUJU shows us the amazing range and versatility she has althought the album starts and ends kind of low for me
A very pretty but kind of boring album. Her voice is beautiful and totally captivating, but the songs themselves leave much to be wanted. I really enjoyed 9 years and the vocal gymnastics she was doing. Not a mini album I’ll probably revisit much, but one that was very nice to listen to once.
