It might not be the most nuanced or ‘professional’ way to review a single, but “Adderall” by shame is the only song so far this year to make me cry like a baby. It’s a step above the few other songs I have at 90s, so I suppose a 95 is justified. Powerful stuff.
A left turn from what I was expecting given their previous output, but WOW this is great. If the rest of the album takes this approach, it’s an AOTY contender for sure.
