it isn't bad for BoyWithUke standards, at least from what I've heard, but this EP still doesn't sit well with me. I don't find it to be very enjoyable, the instrumentals aren't bad but the lyrics still need improvement, the first song especially is quite annoying. This sounds very bland and generic as well which does not help his case. His music has made me less appreciative of the ukelele which I am very sad about, I hate TikTok.
Despite me not liking this EP at all, I do have to say this is a legit improvement over his last album "Serotonin Dreams". That project felt so slapped together with some of the worst instrumentals I heard that year with awful ukelele sections, cheesy synths, and the same drum patterns everytime. The lyrics were also horrendous, and at many points made BoyWithUke seem unlikeable despite the fact a lot of it is him trying to explain why people around him were toxic.
