"Pleasant but played-out" is the phrase I'd personally use to describe much of the debut album from beloved fake-Brit, CloudNone. So much of this album feels like it is retreading old ground for him, to the point where it mostly just blends together into a mellowed-out buzz of breakbeats and soft pluck synths. 5 years and 9 EPs later, we finally have the debut album. This record does a brilliant job of being the quintessential CloudNone project. Giving a little bit of all of his production styles, while never straying away from his chillout niche, "Almost Weightless" is precisely what I wanted from a debut LP. While I found the tracks slightly underwhelming in a vacuum, as a collective tracklist the sum is greater than its parts.

Least: Locked
This album is half what I would expect from CN and half him experimenting and kinda failing at it. I absolutely love CloudNones Garage and House style, they are what made all his previous EPs so nice and enjoyable to me. There is quite a bit of that in this album but there is also genre experimenting that just doesn't work. The meldub ends up being really generic and the DnB is really boring.
