I forgot how full, dynamic, groovy, and occasionally emotional this EP is. This was some of the finest chillout garage/house of the time. CloudNone truly has something special, and still does!
Favorite: WISH, Lido
Least Favorite: Let The Music In
Cloudnone's third EP "Wish" features a slew of chill and relaxing songs. Not a stale moment here, which is quite a suprising thing considering how hit-or-miss CloudNone usually is for me, and I think the house-oriented production really helps with that. Urban Foxes and Lido are by far my favorites here, they been absolute earworms ever since I first heard them.
CloudNone has been on a roll the past year pumping out a slew of EPs on Monstercat. At this point, CloudNone's style has become very repetitive and this is very evident with this EP. It's classic CloudNone and it's good, but it's not his best. I'm still a fan of his freshman album "Welcome to London" and his collaboration with Direct on "Lost and Found". The vibes are chill, Elle Vee's vocals are phenomenal, but it doesn't have the punch that his other EPs produced.
