Dot Hacker's new album came off as an interesting offer from Klinghoffer after the mild RHCP's release last year. It is particularly intriguing to see that, as mainstream as the artist may have gone when joining his current 'main' band, he still remains somewhat of a musical ghost amidst the countless yearly releases most publications pay attention to throughout the seasons. Fav tracks: C Section, Mindwalk, Apt Mess, Mindy Dying

Dot Hacker's third record felt very homogenous when it first came out, and by that I mean it sounded like one single colour to me. After a few listens I was able to distinguish the tracks from one another and that is where I really fell in love with most of them. The first song that really spoke to me was We're Going Where, due to the fact that it really sounded like a song that's both composed as improvised due to it's loose and moody nature.
