Utterly warm, and deceivingly devastating. Or maybe, deceivingly warm, and utterly devastating. It’s an enigma for sure, and yet Liam McCay from Dead Calm is able to convey such a desperate feeling so simply. And, In the kindest way possible, simple is best fitting term this album is. Really well made, the singular chord progression carried throughout the album reminds me a little of the recycled lyricism on Imaginal Disk in a way. Liam McCay's best project I think.
