In one of the most bizarre turns in recent hip-hop history, it was revealed shortly after it came out that he'd lied about having Madlib production, and actually it was just some sound-a-like production. He subsequently lost most of his fanbase, and tbh, if you're going to put bars this weak on Madlib beats, you'd have taken a major L anyway.
I'm not entirely sure what the deal with this project is, and whether or not the production was actually handled by Madlib, but regardless, it's a major step-down for Blu lyrically and content-wise, and the production isn't particularly impressive either.
