Pat did a lot better with his vocal performance than the previous album. Kinda reminded me of modern Death Angel a bit. The riffs are fast and felt very similar to their debut. The energy was definitely there as well as the aggression. I do understand where some are coming from saying it's a bit repetitive and formulaic but I think it's still a pretty fun listen. The sheer heaviness and brutality of this record can't be understated. This is a legacy cult thrash band putting out music now that is stronger than most bands have done in their entire career. Every member of the band is on fire, with crushing thrash riffs and machine gun fire double bass drumming. The bass work is also great and the vocalist is perfect for the style of music. The music is fine but I just cannot get behind the aesthetic and all about it. Solid although same-ish instrumentation and vocals I'm not a huge fan of.
