Merry Christmas! The Spotlight Effect is pretty catchy! Quite a few strong tracks that have quite a punch to them, but it’s otherwise safe stylistically, and the lyrics don’t really impress me, so I can’t give it points for creativity. It’s a pretty short album so it doesn’t wear itself out, and I enjoyed listening!

(analbumaday day 350) Ethan Fields from Cooler Than Me (t'was a cover) fame, made a decent album. I expected it to be more pop-punk than it was but despite that it was a fun album. It's short but it's got some charm and some ideas that I would love to see expand and get more fleshed out in future projects of his. I will keep an eye out because he sounds promising.
