Slowdeaf is a lot more mature project by avery_backup that fixed some problems that I had with her last projects.
With only 6 tracks this ep brings some of the extremely catchy and memorable tracks in the Breakbeat genre with complex dynamics of drums or atmosphere that this ep is creating.

My only issue with this project is that spoken word moments are a little bit too long and this project could be better if they were shorter. Aside from that great project.

this album is both produced and mixed incredibly well, better than i thought it would be honestly. the only reason it doesn’t reach the green for me (and this is no diss to the avery) but i’m honestly pretty tired of drum and bass music. i roll my eyes a bit whenever i hear these types of drum pattern since it’s really just sounds the same on 90% of drum and bass i hear. if i was into this genre i would def really like this album, good ... read more

For a first album it's pretty good, I love how the Serial Experiments Lain samples are used. The mixing and production is really good also the bonus song 'my sanity" is amazing.

The best songs: try being happy! nostalgia, dysphoria, kill me, my sanity,

The worst songs: Loveless,
