2024 is gonna be a good year for music man

One of my favorite bands of all time (top 5 for sure) Alcest, are back with a new single from their upcoming record to add to their already perfect catalog, with their first album in 5 years and 2nd project on Nuclear Blast.

You know, I think I've finally settled on how I feel about this song. It took this long because I've never had much to say about it. Alcest seemingly doesn't do anything new here, and as the lead single for Les Chants de l'Aurore, the screams towards the end of the track made it feel like they would continue in the same blackgaze direction they've been in for decades. I liked the track for the most part, not too familiar with Alcest but this was a great first song to listen to from the band!
