Deep Forest

It’s a real shame this album is not on Spotify. Musically it is great, a fantastic introduction to the great musical career of a project I’ve come to deeply appreciate and cherish.

This album gets a 0 though because I’m, in my own small way, trying to hold Deep Forest accountable for the inexcusable behavior of using uncompensated recordings of indigenous people and sampling it without clearing the samples. A gorgeous synergy of musical styles. It's just a pity about the controversy. It's also worth noting how much better the album is with the inclusion of the bonus track, Forest Hymn.
