At the core of complexity is always simplicity. That becomes most obvious when listening to albums like this. Feels more conceptual than the first release. Ideas & execution more hard hitting. Every song feels like it has something to say.
The storms more raging and the atmospheres and imagery are more pronounced, the music does a good job at putting you into an uneasy and lost state.
The guitar playing is more atmospheric, melodic and varied, I connected with the drumming a bit more as well.
