Slowcore (more specifically chamber-slowcore) is a genre that thrives in subtlety and softness, its true depth of sorrow being pulled out of what little is shown in the composition through the lyrics. Through them, every note becomes infused with such melancholy, such tearful sorrow, that even bands I don't truly love make me emotional.
