I'd prefer it if he left the ballads off his EPs/albums now. Better off as singles once in a while
This is a fine album, just not particularly impressive. It has interesting elements all around, but nothing stands out in particular. The melody at the beginning and end of dandelion is very sweet, for example. Chen's really good at ballads, but I kinda wish they gave him more interesting stuff to work with, nothing in here makes me wanna sing along with him. It did make me go listen to dear my dear again tho lol
Shoutout to Starlight for being the best song on here.
Our ballad king is back and at it again with more ballads, but also some non-ballads for diversity!
