a huge story with this, as the main guy behind this, John Grabski, passed shortly after this release from cancer. in a fantastic way, this album represents that sort of emotional chaos and, in some way, preemptive grief. it's raw quality, helped by the one and only Steve Albini, really helps it shine while still being muddy. taking aside the sad story that came with the making of this album: yeah i kinda really love this. a loud, noisy, grunge album that sounds incredible thanks to steve albini's productions. the guitars are heavy, the bass is heavily distorted, and the screaming vocals are the cherry on top. really think more people should listen to it
