Now here's a quick one:
Upcoming midtempo dj Deathpact decided to randomly drop a 4 track EP with the impressive length of 7 (!) minutes.
As there's not much to talk about, let me summarize everything on here.
21 QUESTIONS: goofy ahh intro, pretty anticlimactic, there are only 8 questions in there instead of 21 -> -2 points
DOG IN ME: pretty mediocre bass house track; didn't really like the vocals -> (5)

Typically a fantastic producer, Deathpact has seemingly ignored what makes him stand out as a musician in favour of generic and unflattering riddim. And the "flavour text" he's added to this EP are narratively wayward, lost in an ethereal sense of misunderstanding.
Favourite: BUP BUP
Least: 21 QUESTIONS, 4+4
2nd worst edm project I've heard so far this year
21 QUESTIONS: 1.0/10 Huh? What?.....Why?
DOG IN ME: 3.8/10 Makes Crankdat sound like PROFF with how blown out this mix is and for very little payoff.
BUP BUP: 2.1/10 I'm normally pretty open to dryer riddim tracks but this shit is so messily constructed and inconsistent in what it wants to be, to the point where it actually introduces the heavier bass on that second drop and it just doesn't work at all.
