This gives off corny fake-emo vibes. It's also just weird, I didn't like any song. Tragic was a lil cool ig, nothing special.
Has a sound nothing else can recreate. I still replay some songs to this day. Has many classics. My favs are C.R.E.A.M. and Tearz.
Solid listen, with some boring songs, and some repetitiveness but it aged well, and it's a classic album.
Kind of corny. I didn't like most songs. Favs were by your side and state of mind.
It's too long of an album, god forbid you listen to the deluxe. There's no need for most songs and part 2's of songs. Like what's the point of that tell the vision beat if you can just listen to the actual song with pop smoke? I did like some songs though like Jail, off the Grid, hurricane, moon, and come to life.
The storytelling of this album is amazing. Has classics, bangers, and songs that make me emotional, happy, and angry. This album always gives me goosebumps. It's more mainstream than other Kendrick projects but in my opinion, still holds up to Kendricks's core values. The best song on the album is undoubtedly Duckworth, an Amazing beat, with even better storytelling. My least favorite is loyalty (still good).
Truly a masterpiece of an album. This album has its own unique sound you can't recreate.
My favs:
We don't care (very fun song to listen to, with infinite replay value)
All falls down (what can I say it's so catchy)
Spaceship (I love the flow on this one)
Never let me down (PERSONAL FAV and GODDAMN THAT PREACHER GOES OFF.)
Slow jamz (1st song I listened to on this album and I fell in love instantly)
two words (I love bos defs verse)
through the wire (the story behind this, and the ... read more
I loved this Cole album, not a lot of replay value for most tracks though. Fav gotta be dollar and a dream and sideline story.
I didn't like most songs in the album, but I must admit, some beats were unique and oddly pleasant.
I like most songs, my favorites being suicide forest and endless nightmare.
