I really think this album is overhated. It doesn't compare to his previous works, or the records that would follow but it's not bad by any means. I lied about reviewing the money store, I'm doing this instead. This album is kanye's most mainstream project yet and probably forever. Very iconic songs and album cover, but not the best he's been. This album is Kanye's closest thing to being pop other than 808s. This was the first ever album I listened to start to finish, and I still enjoy it to this day. I don't play it as much but it'll forever be a classic.

It's a fine enough lp. This was a project I was really looking forward to. There wasn't much I was expecting considering it's a non label release and someone's first project, but the production definitely surprised me. If this were an instrumental album it would work fine.
