I have nostalgic feelings with this one. Nice vibes, nice ballads piano and synths. Still thinking that A Sky Full of Stars wasn't for this album.
This album is perhaps one of Coldplay's best attempts at embodying a positive message, but it's riddled with issues—particularly with the mix, production, and features. The production, in particular, falls short. Just when they succeed in crafting a solid song, the next one disrupts the vibe completely. The album feels flat, like a soul without a proper medium to communicate its message.
Worked on the In Rainbows era. Creepy lyrics and synths. Still sounds like a B-side of Wall of Eyes, but in a good way.
I like the fusion of genres, but I don't see that this can communicate the intricate production and develope that lay behind this album (referred to Chilean folklore and much more). Not to mention that the weak vocals only works on particular songs, a plenty of them let me say.

It's better than Funeral. I mean, the concept is more interesting and in general is more cohesive than they debut. Maybe is less dramatic, but who cares.
