THIS ALBUM OVERRATED AS HELL 😭
Especially compared to Kendrick's other works, DAMN really aint it. To be fair, it still does have its fair share of really good songs (DUCKWORTH, XXX, FEAR) but as a whole it just feels hollow in the context of it being a Kendrick Lamar album. I don't find myself coming back to this project as much as TPAB, GKMC or MMATBS, hell even untitled unmastered.
Anyway, thats my two cents. Feel free to flame me for this.

man the highs of this album are REALLY impressive but theres also quite a large amount of very average songs and a few songs that are just straight up bad

My rating completely ignores the remixes, i don't care for them. All the non-remix songs go hard!!!!!!

There are some serious improvements on this record. I do wish Peggy kept BALD! on this record, that would go hard imo.

TDOSS is, put lightly, a mid album. There are songs that are enjoyable, like Fuel, Renaissance and Tobey. This album can be fun at moments. However there are songs that drag the rest of the album down.
